Capturing you for who you are

One thing I love as a photographer is discovering that distinct thing in you that that makes you who you are. Maybe it’s your laugh. Maybe it’s those blue eyes that pierce the soul of the person you’re interacting with. A kind and compassionate heart. A goofball tendency to tell silly jokes. Perhaps it’s even a life that’s been full of hardships that’s shaped you into the strong person you are today.

Whatever that is, I want you to see how beautiful that makes you.

When you choose me to partner with you on your photographic journey, I will take every effort to capture as much of what makes you, you in a photograph. That doesn’t just mean taking pictures, though that of course is the end result. It means connecting with you. Finding out your story. Laughing at your funny moments and empathizing with the difficult times that have molded you. At the end of our time together, I want you to feel that you’ve made a relationship, not just had a photo shoot. 

The trust that you extend to me in that time will be handled with love and care. I seek to provide you a stress-free experience so you can be in the moment, rather than worrying about the process. When you can enjoy that time, it allows you to be yourself. And that is true beauty.
